Job Description
This position exists to conduct both data handling and analytics/statistical modeling for digital scores, combine data reported by a consumer in a proposal and information’s collected by transaction (like IP, devices, geographic location, and other attributes of each event, supported by global identity data over time). Our Risk Business Analytics family contains over 100 data scientists in fast-paced environment. We are innovators, passionate about challenging the status quo, and improving outcomes.
Accountabilities:
Works across business/teams to collect, aggregate, match, consolidate, and confirm data for quality and accuracy.
Identify, research, programing and analyze data so that it can be accurately processed.
Perform data analysis for assigned business including design and development of solutions.
Make process and/or system improvement recommendations to assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives.
Build statistical models and complete various analytic projects for a variety of applications including risk and fraud. These projects will support internal development projects as well as client sponsored projects outside Brazil.
Develop scoring models and statistical analysis; provide code to customers or internal contacts to validate accuracy of production scoring code
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience in data manipulation, cleansing, relational databases, and statistical modeling using digital data.
Knowledge of one of Python, R, Scala is a plus.
Ability to learn quickly, work with a team, and communicate effectively.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to describe technical results to non-technical audiences.
Advanced English, fluent in Portuguese/Spanish.
