Overview
The Hybrid Cloud Solution Architect will be part of a team which designs, builds and operates the global AWS, Azure and On-premises environments of Siemens Healthineers. He drives cloudification of On-premises workloads into public cloud.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and general overview in Cloud and On-premises IT architecture, software implementation, automation, quality assurance, monitoring and maintaining services with various underlying dependencies. He will engage closely with DevOps and SysOps teams to deliver highly available and scalable services. Also, as being part of the cloud migration team, a close collaboration with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into performant and reliable cloud solutions is key to this position. The candidate should have prior experience in designing cloud and on-premises n-tier applications or IT infrastructure.
Task and Responsibilities:
Manage global datacenter transformation projects for the America region for Siemens Healthineers
Define migration solutions for existing on-prem hosted environments and processes (e.g. R&D)
Design, Building and Maintain cloud systems on Azure and AWS using all available services with focus on PaaS
Build solutions that provide availability, performance, and stability in our systems, services, and products at scale
Work in conjunction with our demand teams and business users to understand functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements
Propose architecture using native Azure/AWS services, automation, and serverless technology in a complex multi-tenant environment
Understand Siemens Healthineers information security requirements and drive adherence for cloud workloads
Collaborate within organization to build secure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS environments in Azure and AWS
Develop and maintain documentation for built Azure/AWS systems and procedures
Build working relationships with Siemens Healthineers and business teams
Evangelize cloud platform strategy & product portfolio towards the business stakeholders to overcome change resistance

Qualifications:
Overall 7+ years experience in Cloud Technologies and recent 5 years particularly in Azure
Experience with the implementation of cloud solutions in an enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of technology and cloud topics including network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security
Project Management certification or proven track-record
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on status, progress and risks
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Azure solution architect certification along with other security certifications is a plus
Knowledge of software development processes at scale is a plus
The candidate will apply their experience building reliable, scalable, secure data driven process automation for managing compliance
