As an IT Application Support Engineer, you will be supporting enterprise IT applications in the manufacturing area, used by Siemens Healthineers globally in Europe, Asia and the USA. Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
Ensure a SaaS (Software as a service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) based enterprise IT-Platform availability 24/7 as well as the application performance
Provide 2nd level support within the Incident Management process (e.g. trouble shooting)
Provide 3rd level support within the Problem Management process (e.g. root cause analysis)
Take care on the Access Management process
Contribute to the Knowledge, Release and Configuration Management processes
Perform the Escalation Management process
Ensure and control disaster recovery, backup and restore scenarios
Configure and install enterprise IT applications and/or its components
Coordinate special technical requests with internal and external IT service providers
Contribute to implementation of IT application architecture (technology, interfaces, landscape)
Contribute to accurate and up-to-date quality and end-user documentation
Assist during internal and external audits
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILSS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Business Management
Good level of written and spoken English
2-5 years of experiences in operational IT Support especially in Incident and Problem Management
Hands on experience with web-based and cloud applications
Superior verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on multicultural sensitivity
Critical thinking and analysis skills with respect to varying customer and business processes and requirements as they relate to a larger picture
Strong teamwork skills
