The Senior IT Manager is the number one in Technology in Brazil for a multinational company.
This position entails overseeing the execution of IT strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, anticipating future needs, and maximizing the effectiveness of systems and personnel.
This role demands extensive knowledge of both IT and business operations, requiring a deep understanding of strategic and operational requirements to foster the right partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and program/project resources to facilitate decision-making and ensure timely project completion.
Foster collaboration between internal and external partners, including business units, service providers, and shared services, to leverage synergies across the Brazil division.
Implement global IT strategies aligned with overarching business objectives to maximize value.
Utilize a global IT governance model to optimize value delivery, promote synergy across the Brazil division, and leverage digital solutions.
Ensure comprehension of technology solutions, compliance with governance processes, and adherence to architecture standards within Brazil business units.
Establish and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) to enhance value and consistency across the segment.
Incorporate innovation and technological trends into the business strategy to enhance value delivery and maintain a competitive edge.
Represent the division in internal and external meetings, fostering cross-functional collaboration and engagement.
Deliver presentations to local and global teams, shared services, and external stakeholders to communicate expected value and commitments necessary to support segment strategy.
Lead, motivate, and guide a direct team of IT staff and consultants, setting objectives, identifying talent needs, and driving performance.
Develop business cases for projects and assist business stakeholders in identifying value and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
Contribute to IT budgeting for business units, including allocations and tracking actual expenditure.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree.
Over 10 years of relevant experience in technology and business processes, with increasing leadership responsibilities and impact.
Minimum 2 years of direct team leadership experience.
Proficiency in English.
Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels, with a strong focus on prioritization and execution.
